What a way to start your day!

This is what I walked out to this morning! What a way to kick the morning in to high gear. I ran out to the garage this am to get something out of the car and this is what I saw. Hubby was out of town last night, so now I have to figure out how to get both children to school on my own. It is a good thing I saw this when I did, so it would allow enough time to walk Mr. 5 to school.

He goes to the neighborhood school and we have not walked yet, due to my not getting us up and ready in enough time. Well, he loved it and so did Miss Priss. It was such a great way to start the morning. Hopefully,we will do it some more before it gets too chilly.

After I dropped him off, I still needed to get Miss Priss to school. I figured if I stood on this one street I would surely see a friend that I could jump in the car with to take Miss Priss. Well, I did and she is now at school.

I am stranded at my house waiting for the carpet guy and the painter to show up and finish this basement. We are almost there! Next week the chair that I am having recovered and the pillows should be ready.

These things always happen at the worst time.

Ugh--don't these things seem to only happen when the husband is out of town?

Ugh. Sorry to hear about the start of your day. This reminds me that I need to learn to change a flat. Naahhh...I'll just have the 1-800-VOLVO folks take care of that.

I hate days that begin like this. Hopefully, your day will be much better and you can forget all about the ugly start.

Have a blessed day!

Must be catching...I drove to the kid's school last night(less than a mile round trip) to drop cookies and by the time I got home I had a complete flat. Good thing hubby was home today for #3's bday party and could take care of it. What an inconvenience. Hope you have had yours sorted out without too much trouble!

I had a flat last month out of town with both kids and without hubby. It was beautiful, just a real load of fun to deal with!

I only had a nail in my tire and it was fixed with a patch. The service conpnay lives within one mile from my house, so I did lots of walking back and forth to drop off and pick up. Great way to get my exercise for the day. Thanks for all the comments!
