Basement

Here are some preliminary pictures from my basement. As I mentioned, I had to work with this yellow sofa and I am happy the way it turned out. I am sure many of you feel this way-I am ready for the toys to go bye-bye. They seem to be taking over my house. I still need some artwork for the walls. I have framed some of the children's art to try and give it some personality. Here is a picture of my pillow and the club chair is done in the same fabric. I am having more pillows made for the sofa-hopefully, to arrive soon!
Here is a picture of the large TV that hubby had to have.

Here is a picture of the basement bathroom. I still need some sconce shades. I want to find some lime cheetah shades to coordinate with the ottoman.

I am so glad someone else has that train table piled with trains, lego buildings etc...in their basement!

I was hoping you would not notice the toy table:) Although we have put the trains away-it still comes in handy!

I love the color you chose for the walls! How nice and light and airy (esp. for a basement!)
Yes, we too have our train table in our playroom but it is covered with playmobil scenes!

Jealous! We have no basements in California, just converted garages!!! Love the towels in the bathroom. Where did you get them!?

I purchased the towels at a department store and had the fringe and monogram added.

We have the same taste-GOOD.

I hate when people post pics of some trainwreck, and you have NO idea how to respond. "Oh-you have ceilings and walls! How clever!"
