Back from Holiday

We are back from our short trip for Thanksgiving to visit my parents. Had a great turkey day with all the usuals. I am not a huge fan of the traditional dinner, so I find myself way too interested in the sweets! I had chocolate and pecen pie with whipped cream. Yummy!

Friday my mom and I did some shopping -we went to smaller stores and boutiques and were not brave enough or crazy enough to go to the mall. I found this above wreath here and I purchased two -one for my dining room mirror and one for my living room mirror. I am going to attach with a suction cup add a bow and what a great addition to my rooms. I love the Kellogg Collection they have such timeless pieces and great accessories. It is a good thing they don't have one where I live.
I also can't believe it is time to decorate for Christmas with Thanksgiving falling early, my dates are totally off. I love Christmas and figure as much trouble as I go through to decorate why not make it last as long as possible.
Friday night Hubby and I met some of my high school friends for dinner and drinks. It was great to catch up and laugh about old times. We went here for dinner and here for drinks afterward. It was fun to get out and great for Nani to babysit!
Now is crunch time -lots of napkins to do and shopping and decorating. Three of my favorite things!

Did you say Kellogg Collection!? I LOVE that store!!! I 've been to them all. Doesn't it smell so good? I never tire of their pieces. I can always find something to buy, even if it is just a piece of Mackenzie-Childs. Happy Thanksgiving:)

Beautiful wreath. I've been looking for something like that for my french doors. Are you from Richmond?

I love those wreaths...what a great idea. Any idea how to hang a wreath on my metal framed back door with full length glass?

Thanks for the suggestions for my Mum's birthday! My sister and I gave her a jewelry case that she had been eyeing for a while. She really loved it. :)

Wow! I'm so excited to read about someone visiting the Kellogg Collection. We make many of their mirrors at our studio in Atlanta. They are cherished clients and their stores are amazing.
