Preppy Brown

I am in the midst of updating my master bathroom. it is relatively new bathroom and so we are just updating right now, instead of a toal rennovation. Removing more Hollywood lights, big flat mirrors and wallpaper with a border that I have lived with for almost 4 years. I am really getting out of my decorating comfort zone and painting the walls a chocolate brown. I always like neutrals, but don't have the first neutral wall in my house. So, this will be the first. I have two big gold mirrors that I am going to hang and need a great chocolate brown to paint the walls. Does anyone have a great chocolate brown paint they would like to recommend? I appreciate your suggestions.

I painted my bedroom chocolate brown earlier this year. I posted pics on Jan. 13. I think we used Olympic paint Chestnut. I LOVE IT!!! Can't wait to see how things turn out!

Serena and Lily has a GREAT chocolate brown paint offered in their catalog. Also, my stepmom did the bottom half of her dining room in a chocolate that is fabulous. The best chocolate I've ever seen. I'll get the name for you. It's a Benjamin Moore, I think.

Try middlebury brown HC-68 and if its too dark and you dont have any natural light try a few shades lighter and go with whitall brown HC-69 both by Banjamin Moore- Looks great with some brown and white transferware accessories- I painted my dining room the first color and love it-

We are also redoing our master bath. Lots of dust and we have to use our daughter's bathroom, but I am so excited about having a nice new look!

I hope you post pictures. I love Benjamin Moore paints btw.

I used Ben Moore Middlebury HC-68. Saw this color in Southern Accents a few years back with Brown Transferware Plates on the walls and a brown check sofa. My dream room! My room gets morning sun and has lots of white trim.
