Anthropologie find!

Was in Richmond last weekend and also picked up this top along with my bag. I wouldn't normally pick something like this out, but really like it. I of course, wear a cardigan over it. I don't show my arms (comes from years of swimming and having big shoulders) The top is racer back and that is another reason to wear a sweater over it. That would require me to buy a bra specifically for this shirt and that is not going to happen!

Heading to Raleigh this weekend to visit college friends and I will have to stop at all of the wonderful shopping establishments that Raleigh has to offer. (Southpark, North Hills, Cameron Village) just to name a few!

Fall Bag

I have been gone way too long and will try better to keep my site updated. I just purchased this bag from Nordstrom's and love it. I had a hard time deciding on a color but went with the seafoam blue which is the color above. Loved the orange, but it is sold out! The bag is by JPK Paris. I have never heard of this designer-but what do I know. I am just happy with something new to carry on my shoulder-the little things in life!
Anyone else have a new bag for the fall!

J. Crew and where have I been!

I was in Lynchburg last week and was able to stop by J.Crew. I picked up this shirt and another one in silver. I love the collar, not so crazy about it being sleeveless, but love it with a cardigan.
If only spring will get here. I am over the snow and rain.

I have also been very busy with To Bee Named-thanks to all of my customers!

I also have a new job that I love. I am selling eyeglass frames to optometrists. It is fun and stylish and people always need glasses. I have name brands that I also enjoy wearing. The only negative so far is my territory. I have all of Southwest Virginia and parts on West Virginia. I do get to stay in a hotel by myself which is like a mini vacation.

Next week, I head to the Big Apple for a conference-I am super excited about that. Yummy food and lots of hours of working in a booth!

Hope everyone is doing well and I promise not to go so long without posting again!

Dana Gibson

Here is a lamp that I just moved to my kitchen counter. I absolutely love it and purchased it from Dana Gibson-it is a one of a kind. She has a studio in Richmond, Virginia that is fun to visit and see her one of a kind pieces. I could of purchased many more things. If you haven't seen her work-you can log onto her website and see all that she has to offer. She has many of her items at local stores-check the store listing page on her website. She is so talented and I hope to acquire more pieces along the way. (I just need to figure out how to hide these cords behind the lamp)

New Lamp in more colors!

New Piece that would work in my living room-A must have!

I have two of these in my guest room.
Happy Shopping!

New J. Crew

I was in Lynchburg today and stopped by the J. Crew clearance center. I did find a pair of these sandals and a pair of yellow pants. I am already ready for Spring and will love having these. The woman working there, said they have just finished inventory and will be adding more things daily. It was still full of lots of fall and winter.
Happy Shopping!

What to wear?

I just got these in the mail from Kayce Hughes. I also ordered the pink and green tunic, but can't get that picture to post for some reason. Hubby has his 20th high school reunion coming up this month, so I am trying to find something to wear. I love this red dress and that may be the one. Check out this website. Great stuff that will sure bring many compliments!

Happy 4th!

Adorable things from J. McLaughlin

I love how it just hangs (still have baby bulge around my waist)

My arms are so not in shape for this cute top!

I already have this in blue and love it!

We just got back from a short trip to here with the swim team. It was a great group of moms (some dads) and children. It was just Mr. 6 and me. Miss Priss was with my Mom-she has been told she has to be 4 to attend, so next year she will be in tow. It was a quick trip , because I can only walk around in my bathing suit for so long!
We then headed to Richmond to take my mom out to dinner for a big birthday she is celebrating! We took her here.It was yummy and a great place to celebrate a special occasion. Hubby and I had not been there in several years. I forgot how delicious the cream corm is!
We had a great 4th of July on the water and visiting with family. If only I had time to do some shopping, as it looked like every store we drove by in Richmond was having a big sale. I have many favorite shopping destinations, but one is J. McLaughlin. The first store that I went to was in New York city several years ago and now Richmond has one. We stopped by for ice cream on Friday night right next to J. McLaughlin and I got to do some window shopping. Looked like lots of cute things and many things on sale, so maybe next time I am in Richmond-I will get to stop by.

Cute Skirt!

I just got back from NYC last night. Had a great time and will post on it later. I am trying to catch up today and had time to stop by Target and find this cute skirt. It will be perfect for spring days with some fun flats. A lot has happened at our household in the last week- new car, new job and new haircut. More detail to follow....

Fall Finds

Here are a couple things I picked up last weekend. All found at Harold's. The pants are so comfortable. I love the shirt with the sassy sleeves and will look great with pearls. The boots-I looked high and low for. I wanted a small heel, so I can wear them all the time without tripping. I happen to be a little clumsy!

A Man after my own heart

Well, Mr. 5 and I had a great day. Miss Priss was with a babysitter and we had we call a "Mommy and Me day." We started off with some errands and then headed to a local Store that carries Lacoste and Vineyard Vines just to name a few. My main purpose was to find madras shorts for my father's birthday. They did not have his size so, Mr. 5 and I decided to shop for ourselves. I have made a mental note that this fall I am not going to spend crazy amounts on the children's clothing like I have for the past couple of years. Gosh, how quickly that has escaped me.

Mr. 5 was very interested in shirts that came in his size. The lady that owns the store was showing him what shirts were on sale in his size and instead of unwrapping their very neat bags that held the shirts, they have shirts just to try on for size. She warned me that Lacoste shirts run small. Mr.5 has quickly grown out of his 5-6 and I will be buying 7-8 for this fall. Well, he tried on a 8 and then a 10 -which fit him the best. You would of thought I have purchased the moon for him. He was so ecstatic that a size 10 fit him the best and I think the was comparing shirt size to age in hopes that he would be 10 soon! She did say that the shirts are a french 10. They had three in his size to choose from and he picked his favorite and wanted to wear it immediately. I also picked up a couple of fall things for myself.

So, after out shopping spree we made a couple of more stops. Each person that would make eye contact with Mr. 5-he explained that he was a size 10 "a french 10." He has never met a stranger!

So, I guess I have another little shopper on my hands. We will keep this a secret from Hubby. Miss Priss is destined to be a shopper and I had no idea that Mr. 5 would enjoy it so much as well.
